Yummy Banoffee Protein Truffle Recipe!

This recipe is super simple and provides a mix of healthy Carbohydrates and Protein so makes an ideal post workout snack. I have even had it as Breakfast on the go!

This Banoffee Protein Truffles recipe makes 5 Truffles (depending on how big you like them!)

 

Ingredients

 

  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour

  • 1 scoop whey protein vanilla or chocolate (I used MaxiNutrition Promax)

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1 table spoon of almond/ peanut butter (I use Meridian Foods nut butters)

  • Very small dash of milk (I use almond milk)

  • 1 teaspoon of stevia

  • 1 small ripe banana

  • A little extra cocoa powder for the coating

 

Put all the ingredients into a blender, it will form a sticky, thick paste. Use your hands to create the protein balls, if it is sticky make sure your hands are a little wet when you do this. Pop your extra cocoa powder on a plate and roll the balls in this to add a coating. Pop in the fridge and they will be ready to eat in an hour.  Store in an air tight container for 2-3 days.
