Ekincik is one of those well kept secrets for travellers who treasure and prefer rest, peace and natural beauty. A perfect place to read, sit and relax.
The hotel has extensive grounds and is situated in the midst of pine trees, in a natural resort with fantastic views of the open sea and wonderful bay.
Yoga takes place twice a day in the wood built yoga den.
There is a swimming pool with deck chairs and umbrellas available for your use. The beach is a 20/30 minute hike down the valley through the countryside. A transfer to and from the beach is offered 3 times daily.
Meals are taken on the restaurant terrace with views of olive groves, vineyards and the bay. All dishes are typical of the country. Daily breakfast plus dinner are inclusive of the cost of the holiday. There is a lunch menu for those of you not at the beach, at reasonable prices. There are also 2 small cafes at the beach.
As the venue is quiet with an even quieter beach, excursions are available daily.
DAILY CHAKRA YOGA
The journey you will take part in during this retreat, is one of inner joy, balance and bliss. Working in harmony with your body’s needs and your individual personality, we will take this adventure together.
Rebecca’s compassionate way of teaching is influenced by many different styles of Yoga such as Hatha, Prana Yoga, Astanga and Kundalini to name a few.
Each day we will work deeply on each of the chakras or bodies energy systems in turn.
This will be an energetic soul soothing practice with some meditation and theory too. A perfect way to light up our sacred fire within and take that energy into our day.
Here we’ll have a gentler flowing class to invoke the lunar quality of serenity. This will prepare us for a restful sleep.
Both these practices will promote inner quiet and de-clutter the mind and soul. Bliss, is a state available to us once we have turned down the volume of the thoughts and realised we are part of the world soul. To unite is the purpose of Yoga. The word itself is said to come from a word meaning unity. When our minds are busy it is easy to feel disconnected. We are not our thoughts, we are way more than our thoughts.
Rebecca found Yoga at a time she needed it the most, it quickly became one of the cornerstones of her spiritual life. She finds delight in sharing these ancient healing arts with others. Rebecca helps her students to unravel their own state of inner bliss through movement and breath. She believes it is important for you to have the tools to help yourself. Her classes help you feel refreshed, revitalised and renewed through Asana, kind words and positive attitude.
The rooms are bright, spacious and clean. All are en-suite with balconies overlooking either the open sea and bay or lush pine wooded mountains.
There is a discount for people who regularly attend Rebecca’s Yoga classes or have been on a retreat of hers before.
Includes: accommodation, Yoga, breakfast and dinner. Transfers from Dalayan river to the venue. Air conditioning and safe.
Not included: flights, travel insurance, meals other than specified. Transfers between the airport and the river.
You will need to book your flight to Dalaman. Book as soon as you are able for the best prices and times.
Transfers: individual transfers between airport and river can be arranged by the hotel. For this service the cost is 35 Turkish Lira (£14) each way per person, regardless of how many people are in the taxi. the journey takes 30 minutes.
