Lianne’s meal plan ideas – Day 1

Eat healthily, not less!

To kick off the 5 day meal plan I have detailed some of my favourite recipes. The key is NOT to starve yourself! Eat healthier not less. You can substitute any meats for fish, or fish for Tofu, or more veg, it’s all about feeling full on foods which give your body something back and will be good for you without taking away from the taste and enjoyment of your food. The snack I choose is a bit of a treat so I wouldn’t advise having this every day and only have one, it will satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth. Remember through the week to drink lots of water.  Enjoy!

Day 1

Mackeral_and_poached_eggs

 Breakfast

Poached eggs with Mackerel fillets

Poach your eggs and add to plate with your makeral fillet – I always add some green and drizzle with balsamic or alittle seasame oil, top with Chilli flakes for a spicey start to the day.

Lunch

Chicken fajitas

Fry your chicken and veg – I use onion and peppers in coconut oil and spice with Try making your own version of accompaniments

Guacamole Salsa Wrap it all up in lettuce leaves.

 

Prawn_PhoDinner

Prawn Pho Soup

Prawns, rice noodles, chilli, lemongrass, spring onion,
ginger, mushroom, bean sprouts. All into a broth made with water and a stock pot.

 

 

Snacks

Chocolate Banana Slices

You Will Need-

  • 2 Ripe Bananas
  • Oats (Amount to your own liking)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 1 90% cocoa bar of Chocolate
  • Loaf Tin
  • Baking Paper
  • Cling Film optional

 

Instructions

  • Mash two ripe bananas
  • Add porridge oats to get a sticky consistence – the more oats you use the
    more they will hold together but you wont get the banana taste coming
    through so much and they may feel too heavy if you use too much.
  • Add honey about one table spoon
  • Add peanut butter about 2 table spoons.
  • Line a loaf tin with baking paper and add mixture to tin pressing down
    mixture.
  • Melt 90% cocoa bar once melted pour over mixture.
  • Place in fridge over night.
  • Remove from fridge and divide into bars I wrap mine once cut individually in
    cling film and store in the fridge.

Drinks

Water, still or sparkling

If you have a water container at home cut to lemons in to wedges squeeze into container fill with water then just refill your container with water the lemons will last between 3-5 days you’ll then have a supply of tasty refreshing water.

Activity for the day

Swimming- great low impact exercise and a fab stress reliever.
