RAW Super Food Protein Balls Recipe

Perfect post workout treat & they really help me keep those 3pm cravings at bay, I have two of these with a tea and ties me over until dinner.I must admit they are not the most attractive but they taste yum!

Ingredients

  • 1 cups almonds
  • ¾ cup of pecans or walnuts
  • 2 scoops of chocolate MaxiNutrition Promax
  • 2 table spoons of cocoa
  • 1 table spoon of coconut oil
  • 1 table spoon of honey/agave/goldensyrup
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 1 ½  cup of dates – make sure you remove the seed
  • A small dash of almond milk (or any other milk but this is my favourite)
  • A few  teaspoons of – optional I add these for the b vitimins but you do not have to or can add something additional.

 

Pop all the nuts into your food processor and blitz for a minute.
Then take all other ingredients and add these to the nuts in your blender and process until fully combined, this should be pretty tough mixture that sticks together well.
Take out the mixture and roll into balls- any size you like!
Put these in the freezer for 20 minutes then into the fridge.
