So if you are anything like me, you see passion fruits in the supermarket and are like hmmm great idea but what the hell would I do with it.
I love getting anything passion fruit whilst out, cocktails, desserts whatever, I can’t get enough, but at home I’m at a loss. So the other day in M&S I saw this little packet of Passion fruits with a little reduced sticker that said buy me and make the most with me today! So I did and I came straight home and whacked them with my other favourite ingredients and blended them up and was very pleasantly surprised by what came out. Passion fruit is rich source of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and fiber so let’s get using it where we can!
Also whilst messing about I realised that this Passion fruit smoothie recipe when served in it’s own shell will make an excellent dessert shot/addition at my next dinner party. Keeping them in the shell/skin is a perfect little shot glass! Well obviously not glass but you know what I mean!
2 Balls of Frozen Spinach
A full Handful of Frozen Blueberries
The Pulp from 1/2 a passion fruit. (If you like it strong then just pop in the whole thing. Definitely my preference!)
1 heaped teaspoon of Meridian Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 scoop of Maxinutrition New blend Vanilla Protein Powder.
Fill to the max line with Water.
I simply popped the ingredients into my Nutribullet and blended till smooth.
